Victor Rukavina was born and raised on the Iron Range of Northern Minnesota. Moving to Minneapolis in 2002 to attend the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, he found himself focusing on fimmaking. Finding inspiration in this adopted urban environment as well as his native landscape, his films tend to combine elements from each of these regions. Rukavina has written, directed and produced five independent shorts as well as worked on numerous other films. He currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota where he works as a freelance filmmaker.
